The stone Lodge located on the edge of Abudhabi. Alto is for a higher level where you can enter the property after passing under a stone cantilever that Penetrate the Glass mass. The main facade is totaly exposed to the outdoors, a minimal glass wall facing the contour of the sarrounding. the ground floor happens to be a great open floor the consists of a living and kitchen areas, the upper level consists of the private bedrooms . The interior design concept is to use one material for the floors and walls and keep the use of other materials as minor additions. The decoration as well is exteremly minimal to not lose attention of the stone used. The daylighting was a an imortant factor while designing as its aimed to capture the shadow lines showing differently at times of the day. The artifitial lighting night mode highlights the building architectural features even more.

Villa De Shalhoub

Design for the Chalhoubs

300 m2 open plan villa positioned on the edge of the city. The ground floor consists of a kitchen area that is exposed to a mini court with an old olive tree in the centre, The open floor is paralel to the pool outdoor all long the living area that is double volume an visually connected with the first floor, this space catches light wells during the day. underneath the metalic structure of the staircase a specie of banana trees makes the space more fresh and familiar. We insisted on creating a theme nude colors matching with white fabrics and light colored marble. The contrast between glass and plaster emphasises our vision of creating varaiaty of calm textures. The lighting scheme highlights the client's favroit Art pieces and valuable elements within the interior spaces. we featured our signature Dining Table- ZigZag and made sure to select a very minimal pieces that makes the space the core of the scene.
